01The problem
Hours written on paper or sent in group messages, retyped by the office into payroll, then retyped again into job costs and client invoices. Three copies of the same number, none checked against the others.
02What we built
Mobile and web time entry against each job’s codes, with ordinary time, overtime and other conditions recorded separately. Workers manage their own entries; supervisors can log for their crew, approve, and roll entries up into weekly sheets.
03The result
One approved record per hour worked, which payroll, job costing and billing all read from instead of retyping.
