01The problem
Pricing a tender schedule meant an estimator opening old jobs one at a time, hunting for a comparable rate. Two days of work before anyone thought about margin, and the same items priced from scratch on every bid.
02What we built
A retrieval layer over thousands of historical tender line items that matches each new line on wording, quantity and unit rather than exact text. Confident matches price themselves. Close calls show the three nearest rates. Anything genuinely new is flagged for the estimator.
03The result
Pricing a schedule dropped from roughly two days to about fifteen minutes of machine time plus an hour of review. Estimators and project managers use it on live bids, and quotes go back to clients materially faster.
