01The problem
Schedules lived in separate files, emailed back and forth between versions, with no link to the costs the job was actually tracked against.
02What we built
Schedules with dated revisions, each shown as a table and a Gantt chart, with spreadsheet import and export so existing schedules come in without retyping. Activities link to the job’s cost categories, so time and cost are planned in the same place.
03The result
The current schedule and its history sit beside the budget and cost reports, so a slip and its cost can be read together.
